Account and Data Deletion

Delete in Tailwaters

Open Tailwaters, tap the logo in the upper-left corner, and choose Delete Account & Data. Tailwaters verifies the active private guest session and deletes the Supabase Auth user and associated profile, saved-location, request-contact, push, presence, and queued-notification records. If you continue using Tailwaters, the app creates a new unrelated guest account.

Remove Facebook Login

If you remove Tailwaters from Facebook and request deletion, Meta sends Tailwaters a signed server-to-server request. Tailwaters verifies Meta's signature and deletes the Supabase account associated with that Facebook identity. Meta then provides a confirmation code and deletion-status link.

Request Help

If you cannot access the app or need help with deletion, email hello@damtailwaters.com. Because guest accounts have no email address, include the user ID shown by pressing and holding the Tailwaters logo only if you still have access to the app.

Limited operational logs, security records, crash reports, backups, or information required by law may remain for their applicable retention periods, as described in the Privacy Policy.
